www.adventistgiving.org – select South Central Conference of SDA

September 19, 2019

Greetings in the Name of the Lord,

The South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is deeply saddened by the tragedy of Hurricane Dorian and its devastating effects on the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. We mourn with our brothers and sisters in Christ who have suffered great losses.

Many of you have already given monetary donations through our website and we are so grateful for your generosity. At this time, our President Benjamin Jones along with his Administrative Team are hoping to assist with tangible items. As a result, the South Central Conference has opened its doors as a donation center to collect items that will assist those needing relief. We have delegated a task force specifically for this relief project to be led by Dr. Edward Pelote. Please see below suggested items for donations:

  • Bedding

  • Cots

  • Sleeping bags

  • Tents

  • Clothing (New; All Age Groups)

  • Generators

  • Non-perishable food items

  • Baby diapers

  • Socks (Packaged)

  • Underwear (Packaged)

  • T-shirts (Packaged)

  • Shoes (New; All Sizes)

These items can be dropped off at the South Central Conference Office located on 715 Youngs Lane, Nashville, TN 37207, Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. Feel free to contact our office at 615-226-6500, ext. 116, if you would like more information.

We are so grateful to those who have already pledged their assistance and would like to thank each of you for your generous and kind acts. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” (Matthew 25:40)
