Pastor Dr. Gordon S. Jones | Lead Pastor

Dr. Gordon S. Jones graduated from Northern Caribbean University with degrees in Religion and Business Administration and was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1995. After earning a Masters of Divinity and several years of successful pastoral experience, Pastor Jones decided to advance his studies in Ministry. These studies culminated with a Doctor of Ministry Degree in May 2010 from Andrews University Theological Seminary.

Dr. Jones is a Pastor driven by a vision to improve and enhance ministry. He has served as a teacher, adjunct lecturer, Youth Ministries Director, Religious Liberty Director, Ministerial Secretary and Evangelism Director. As a member of several committees and institutional boards, he has found blessings and a sense of significance in the contributions he has made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church and his community. It has been his unceasing prayer that his contributions be made only through the leading of the Lord in his life and in his ministry. This conviction has been bolstered by his daily prayer: “Come, Holy Spirit, demonstrate your Pentecostal power again, that my feeble faith might rest in Christ and Him crucified and not in my puny attempts at wisdom and persuasion. Help me to change lives through my daily ministry and begin right here with me!”

Dr. Jones, through his ministry, has changed the lives of many by preaching the word of God with such clarity, conviction, and authority. Dr. Jones is married to his college sweetheart, Wendy Ratteray and together they have served the Lord faithfully. Their happy union has resulted in the blessing of two beautiful children, Tia-Ashley and Zane-Bernard.
